Explicit meaning is telling something directly. You don't have to think about or figure out what is being said.
Implicit meaning requires you to determine the meaning using inferences. Those inferences may come from the text, pictures or the title.

The Ding-Dang Baby is coming on the first snow fall. (Implicit: We can infer that Gia doesn't like the baby because she called the baby the Ding-Dang baby.)
